The Oaklands Community Association is proud to fundraise for their community again for 2025! Oaklands is a vibrant community that aspires to collectively lift it's residents up in times of need. Our fundraising team consists of Oaklands Community Association staff, volunteers, community members and local businesses all coming together to support our neighbors. We sincerely thank you for your donations and wish everyone blessings of delicious food!
The annual Gift of Good Food fundraising campaign returns now until December 31 to raise funds to support community members with nutritious food through the Good Food Box program.
Help us reach our fundraising goal of $10,000 to ensure dignified, consistent food access for those who need it most.
Together, we’re not just providing food—we’re building a community filled with warmth, connection, and justice.

About the Good Food Box
Fernwood NRG operates the Good Food Box, a non-profit fruit and vegetable box program. Anyone, across Greater Victoria, can access these affordable, fresh, healthy produce boxes. Good Food Boxes are available for pick-up at locations from Sooke to Saanich or home delivery every Wednesday. The Good Food Box purchases bulk from local farmers and suppliers—operating like a bulk buying club—and is packed and delivered by a wonderful team of volunteers. We prioritize locally grown produce with a focus on seasonal fruits and vegetables.

oaklands Giveaway Fundraisers
This year, the Oaklands fundraising team has partnered with local Oaklands' businesses to raise money for the Gift of Good Food fundraiser to feed families in need in our community.
Oaklands Business Prize Giveaway: December 1st- 27th, Koffi Victoria, Ooh La La Cupcakes and Cakes, U Retreat, and the Local General Store will be hosting their own in-person giveaways with all the funds going to the Gift of Good Food!
Oaklands Vendor Prize Giveaway: Dec 1-20th, Oaklands Community Association is also partnering with the Oaklands Sunset Market, Queer & Trans Farmers' Market, and West Coast Winter Market to host our own prize giveaway that you can get tickets for in person or over the phone.
