Oaklands is a Fundraising Partner of the Gift of Good Food holiday fundraiser
The annual Gift of Good Food fundraising campaign returns now until December 31st to raise funds to support community members with nutritious food through the Good Food Box program, organized through Fernwood NRG.
Oaklands is proud be a fundraising partner of the Gift of Good Food! Our fundraising team consists of Oaklands Community Association staff, volunteers, and local businesses who are working together to support greater food security in our neighbourhood.
This year, the Oaklands fundraising team has partnered with Koffi, uRetreat, and The Local General Store who will be all be hosting their own in-person prize giveaway fundraisers for the Gift of Good Food! Prize giveaways will be starting November 22nd and go until Dec 22th! More information will be released soon.
Donations can be made directly to the Good Food Box online fundraiser.
Help us reach our fundraising goal of $5,000 to ensure dignified, consistent food access for those who need it most.

About the Good Food Box
Fernwood NRG operates the Good Food Box, a non-profit fruit and vegetable box program. Anyone, across Greater Victoria, can access these affordable, fresh, healthy produce boxes. Good Food Boxes are available for pick-up at locations from Sooke to Saanich or home delivery every Wednesday. The Good Food Box purchases bulk from local farmers and suppliers—operating like a bulk buying club—and is packed and delivered by a wonderful team of volunteers. We prioritize locally grown produce with a focus on seasonal fruits and vegetables.
