The Oaklands Sunset Market runs on Wednesday evenings during the summer from 4:30 to 8:30 pm at the Oaklands Community Centre. The Market is a free, weekly community celebration featuring over 40 local food growers and producers, artisans, crafters, live music, weekly beer garden, and a space for the community to come together and meet their neighbours.
In advance of the City of Victoria's Official Neighbourhood Plan (ONP) Development process, the Oaklands Community Association has been tasked to provide the foundation for the plan.
We have recruited and struck an ONP Committee and will be engaging our neighbours in a variety of planning and feedback processes to ensure a neighbourhood plan that represents the will of the neighbourhood.
Out-of-school care and licensed camps provide a positive atmosphere in which children can develop self-esteem, confidence, and social awareness. While ensuring the kids have a great time, our focus is to encourage and facilitate physical and mental well-being. Our staff offer a warm, safe, and welcoming environment so your child’s time here is fun and memorable. Your child will enjoy lots of fun adventures and create lasting memories. You, as a parent, can rest assured your child is in a safe, warm, and nurturing environment.
Entrust your little ones to our fully qualified Early Childhood Educators (ECEs). At Little Acorn Care Centre, we offer a play based, emergent curriculum style approach within a full day preschool program for children ages 2.5–5 years
Your support and contributions will enable us to improve our services including programs like community dinners, food pantry and food hampers.
The Oaklands Community Association's vision is to provide a welcoming, engaging, sustainable community where all members can live, learn and thrive.
The OCA humbly acknowledges the privilege of serving our community on the unceded ancestral territories of the Lekwungen-speaking Peoples, in particular the Songhees and Esquimalt First Nations.
