Summer Camps

Great Escape

 Great Escape Camp for Youth ages 11-15 is a youth camp that will visit parks and beaches around Victoria and participate in fun group activities.
Campers will travel by public transit, so student bus passes will need to be present for those over 12 years old ; however, this does not need to be a barrier. An activity calendar of weekly plans will be emailed to families prior to first day of camp. Afternoon Snack provided.

 Join us for a youth night out to see a Victoria Harbour Cats game! Take me out the ballgame, take me over to Oaklands. We will be taking public transit over to royal athletic park and enjoying a fabulous game of baseball.

 This fun and interactive 4.5 hour course trains people how to react and improvise when dealing with time priority, life threatening emergencies. By practicing with scenarios students gain confidence, learn to improvise, and react in emergency situations.

 Join us for a fun, hands on food skills workshop led by Oaklands Community Dinner Chef, Chef Hailey. This free session gives youth a chance to build confidence in the kitchen while learning practical, real life skills they can use at home. We’ll cover kitchen safety basics, practice simple cooking techniques, and explore smart budgeting tips to help stretch your food dollars further. Chef Hailey will guide participants step by step through measuring and mixing, knife safety and technique, and simple strategies for saving money at the grocery store. To wrap up, we’ll enjoy the delicious dishes we’ve made, and everyone can take home any extras. Perfect for beginners, curious cooks, and anyone who loves food and wants to feel more confident in the kitchen.

Drama Club: Theatre Sports Edition!

 Get dramatic every Wednesday night! This playful class uses laughter-filled theatre games, storytelling, and script work to build performance confidence and encourage self-expression. Through ensemble-supported play, students will explore creativity, collaboration, and imagination. Sure to open the door to a lifelong love of acting, performance, public speaking, and improv. No experience necessary.
