Queer Community Soup
Queer Community Soup nourishes our queer and trans community through accessible, nutritious meals while building collective care and solidarity. Through soup-based community events, we create opportunities to gather, connect, and support one another.
We raise funds for grassroots projects in our city, because care, joy, and liberation grow stronger when they are shared.
Doors open at 5:00pm, dinner is served at 5:30pm*
Where: Oaklands Community Centre (#1-2827 Belmont Ave.)
*indoor & outdoor seating available throughout the summer
Entry by suggested donation: $5-$10

Trans Older Adult (55+) Lunch Social
This program is for all Trans, Two-Spirit, Non-binary, and Gender-diverse older adults (55+)!
Join us on the first Saturday of the month for a drop-in lunch social. There will be a snacks and refreshments provided, and a facilitator to lead discussions and activities.
When: First Saturday of the month, contact for time.

Crafting Connection Victoria
A community-led program hosted at Oaklands Community Association for QTBIPOC (queer & trans Black, Indigenous, People of Colour) community to come together through arts + crafts!
This program is intended for people who are both queer and people of colour

2SLGBTQ+ Working Group
The 2SLGBTQ+ Working Group is a group of Oaklands Community Association staff, volunteers, and Oaklands community members who meet once a month to help shape the Queer Futures of our neighbourhood.
We work together to create and support the Queer & Trans programming and events at the centre.
