Members Meeting - Sept. 15th
Attention OCA Members - There is a Member Meeting planned for September 15th 2025, at 7pm at the Oaklands Community Centre.
The meeting will focus on the amendment of bylaw 3.9 and to review the missing financial statement from the 2025 AGM. An email will be sent to members by August 25th outlining the specifics of the amendment, financial documents, and meeting agenda.
Members must have active OCA memberships in good standing before August 25th to participate in the voting process.

You're invited to eat, drink, and dance at Oktoberfest at Oaklands on October 4th from 5:30-10pm.
Each ticket gets you one local beer from Hoyne Brewing (or cider), a delicious bratwurst meal (vegetarian & gluten-free options available), live music, and great company! Don't worry, the drinks will be flowing all night - and there's always extra pretzels! This is an event that you won't want to miss.
Must be 19+ (no minors allowed). 2 pieces of ID required at the door.
Tickets go on sale Sept. 1st.

Beats, Bites, & Books is coming this fall, on Sept 20th!
From 4:30-8:30pm, at the Oaklands Community Center.
Celebrate our region's 1000th Little Free Library at Beats, Bites, & Books!
Join us Saturday, Sept. 20th, from 4:30-8:30pm at the Oaklands Community Centre.
Beats: We'll have live music playing funky tunes
Bites: Save your appetite for one of our delicious food vendors from around the world
Books: Vote for your favourite Little Free Library, create your own bookmark, or grab a map to find all the LFLs in your neighbourhood!
We'll have kids activities, an auction, beer garden, and tons of quality beats, bites, and books!
Community Dinner - Returns Sept 28th!
When: Sunday, Sept. 28th
Where: Oaklands Community Centre
Each month, September through June, we extend a warm invitation to Oaklands residents to join us for our Community Dinner on the fourth Sunday of the month.
Come join us for a delicious meal prepared by chef Bob, Becky, and volunteers!
Doors open at 5:00pm
Dinner at 5:30-7:00pm
