Garage Sale Day & Street Party! - May 30

Get ready to kick off the summer season with our Garage Sale Day on Saturday, May 30th! This exciting event is a great way to start the season, connect with your neighbors, and find some great deals!

If you're interested in having your address listed on our map, you can register here.

Don't have a yard? You can still have a yard sale! We're hosting an indoor garage sale from 9am-2pm. Register for a table inside the Oaklands Community Centre here.

The map will be available on our website and in hard copies at the community center from May 25-30 and is the best way to advertise for your garage sale.

Oaklands Street Party -  May 30, 11am-3pm

Take a break from the garage sales and head down to Belmont Ave where we'll have food trucks, live music, kids activities, and much more!

Kids Spring Market - May 3, 1-4pm

See what crazy creations kids can come up with! Shop the Kids Spring Market and support 20 young vendors.

Our Annual General Meeting takes place every Spring, providing an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the year, present reports to our members, and conduct elections for our Board of Directors. 

This year the Oaklands Community Associations' AGM will be on May 25th, 2026. It runs from 7-9pm at the Oaklands Community Centre.

Only members in good standing may vote at the Annual General Meeting. If your membership has lapsed, it needs to be renewed. The fee is the same as last year ($5).

Each month, September through June, we extend a warm invitation to Oaklands residents to join us for our Community Dinner on the fourth Sunday of the month. 

Come join us for a delicious meal prepared by chef Bob, Becky, and volunteers! 

Doors open at 5:00pm

Dinner at 5:30-7:00pm
