Get Growing, Victoria! Distribution Partner Organization
We are excited to be a distribution partner organization with Get Growing, Victoria!
This City of Victoria program provides food seedlings and soil-building materials with a priority to support underserved communities. The goals of the program are to grow food, grow gardeners, and grow community!
We are a part of the collective of neighbourhood associations and community centers across the city helping to distribute seedlings and soil-building materials provided through Get Growing, Victoria!
2026 Summer Seedling Distribution
Join us on Saturday, August 15th from 11am-1pm for a Get Growing, Victoria! Neighbourhood Distribution Day!🌱
Seedlings and soil will be distributed from 11am-1pm at Oaklands Community Centre and at other locations throughout Victoria during the summer! Learn more and find a distribution day near you at victoria.ca/getgrowing
2026 Fall Soil Distribution
Join us on Saturday, September 19th from 11am-1pm for a Get Growing, Victoria! Neighbourhood Distribution Day!🌱
Building healthy soil is a critical activity to support healthy ecosystems, and growing healthy, abundant gardens. Materials will be available while supplies last; note that limits may be in place depending on demand. Please bring your own shovel and containers.
Free leaf mulch, compost and woodchips will be available at our location on Saturday, September 19th from 11am-1pm and at other locations throughout Victoria in the fall! Learn more and find a distribution day near you at victoria.ca/getgrowing
