Get Growing, Victoria! Distribution Partner Organization
We are excited to be a distribution partner organization with Get Growing, Victoria!
This City of Victoria program provides food seedlings and soil-building materials with a priority to support underserved communities. The goals of the program are to grow food, grow gardeners, and grow community!
We are a part of the collective of neighbourhood associations and community centers across the city helping to distribute seedlings and soil-building materials provided through Get Growing, Victoria!
2026 Summer Seedling Distribution
Join us on Saturday, August 15th from 11am-1pm for the Get Growing, Victoria! Neighbourhood Distribution Day!🌱 Location: Oaklands Community Centre
The award-winning Get Growing, Victoria! program helps distribute seedlings and soil-building materials to residents who face barriers to growing their own food.
Materials will be available while supplies last; note that limits may be in place depending on demand.
Free seedlings will be available at our location on Saturday, August 15th from 11am-1pm and at other locations throughout Victoria in August! Note: our location will be seedlings only; no soil-building materials will be available on this day.

Building healthy soil is a critical activity to support healthy ecosystems, and growing healthy, abundant gardens. Materials will be available while supplies last; note that limits may be in place depending on demand. Please bring your own shovel and containers.
