Our OSC programs offer a range of fun activities for school-aged children. Our experienced, educated, creative staff are passionate about providing exceptional childcare and strive to provide a fun and inclusive environment for your child.

Sundance-Bank school has an early dismissal on Wednesday April 29th at 11:50am.
Oaklands School has an Early Dismissal on Thursday April 30th at 11:50am.
Oaklands OSC will be running an Early Dismissal Camps on both days.
This is for our current Out of School Care families.

If your child is attending Oaklands or Sundance-Bank Elementary and you are seeking Before or After School Care, please put your child’s name on the waitlist below.
The graduating class of Hamilton Park and Little Acorn will be contacted to secure their spot in Kindergarten OSC with additional information to follow.
When completing the waitlist information, please note your child’s grade and the school year. Also note if your child requires additional support, siblings needing care or any other info that will help us place your child in an appropriate space.
Please be aware that Out of School Care for Grades K-2 is extremely limited and there is often minimal movement on the waitlist.
There is no application fee for the waitlist, but a $100 deposit is due at time of registration and is refunded on the last day of care. A $50 administration fee is due in September and $50 resource fee is due in January.

Current In-House refers to families who are currently registered in our OSC program or attend Little Acorns or Hamilton Park childcare program.
Registering into Winter/Spring, Summer camps, or Pro-D Day camps does not designate as an In-House family. Children attending our feeder schools does not designate as an In-House family.

Please read the following information, as it may answer your question!
No, all spaces are Monday-Friday. Your child does not need to attend everyday, but we do not offer part-time spaces at a discounted fee.
OSC Program Closure
Our OSC program runs during the school year (September – June). Our Summer Camp Programs start in early July.
We are closed during all Statutory Holidays:
September - Labour Day
+ National Day for Truth & Reconciliation
October – Thanksgiving
November – Remembrance Day
December – Christmas Day
January – New Years day
February – Family Day
April – Good Friday and Easter Monday
May – Victoria Day
June – Friday after last day of school
In addition to the above dates, the OSC program closes for one week during the Winter Break and families will be informed which week we are closed and which week we will offer a camp.
All children must be placed on the waitlist before being registered into Program.
We are only taking a waitlist for 2025/26 and 2026/27 school years. Any further into the
future will be deleted from our waitlist.
All current families will be auto-enrolled for the next school year unless 30 days written
notice is supplied to the OSC Manager.

Please note that to enroll with Oaklands Out-of-School Care, your child must be a registered student at Oaklands Elementary School; for Sundance School OSC Site, your child must be registered with Sundance Elementary School.

Until subsidy is in place full fees are due on the first of each school month; once subsidy is approved and applied to fees, a credit can be applied to future month fees.

OSC Program - If you choose to withdraw your child from care or change the care
provided (add/remove options), Oaklands Community Association requires one
calendar month’s written notice (preferably given before the last day of the previous
month). Failure to provide sufficient notice will result in the Association charging a full
month’s fees. The $100.00 registration deposit will be applied against the last month
your child attends OSC.
